Here at Boost Lab Care, we provide our clients with a range of laboratory equipment, working with various manufacturers and distributors in order to meet the needs of our customer base. Our services include the commissioning, delivery and installation of incubators for labs, as well as offering validation, training and all relevant documentation.
A laboratory incubator refers to the heated, insulated box, which is utilized to grow and maintain microbiological or cell cultures. Laboratory incubators are able to retain the required optimal temperature, humidity and gaseous content within the atmosphere of the container. As elements such as temperature are adjustable, it’s possible to have cooled incubators, as well as those which reach up to 100°C, with most going up to around 60-65°C.
A simple lab incubator will be insulated with the adjustable heater, whilst more elaborate designs have the function for lower temperatures (through refrigeration), and the controls for humidity and CO2 levels. Some may also be able to offer movement in order to mix cultures, or can offer a means of circulating the inside air to ensure an even temperature distribution. Laboratory incubators can be configured in a range of sizes, from those that fit on a table top, to whole rooms.
