The two main things which count in the operation of laboratory diluters is accuracy and consistency of operation, and functionality in terms of avoiding mishandling or contamination. Each lab diluter supplied by Boost Labcare has a proven track record for usability, and can be set up to produce results which are suitable for current lab practices. ISO 7218
Beyond these main concerns, choosing the best diluter for labs and QC departments is a matter of finding the model which has the features which are most appropriate to your needs. To make that determination, it is best to consult the extensive write-ups and specification sheets on the individual pages which are dedicated to these products. We have gone to great lengths to try to anticipate the requirements of our customers, and present concise information which will make it clear which type of diluter is best for you.
In the meantime, here is an overview of basic types:
IUL Pinch Dilutor
The simplest and most compact model is this pinch dilutor, which despite its size can handle a demanding workload and is flexible enough for most applications. Being a gravimetric dilutor, complexity is kept to a bare minimum – the unit has one moving part, reducing maintenance to almost zero.
IUL Smart Dilutor
A smart dilutor takes things to the next level, when you need more fine control over processes and materials. It is also more suitable for constant use, in busy modern labs where time on each piece of equipment comes at a premium. The basic model is a single pump smart dilutor, which can be upgraded to a double pump smart dilutor for facilities which have very demanding requirements.
Barcode printers for traceability, as well as instability tolerance features and vibration isolation can all be equipped. Contact us for more information.
